What we do

Platform

Climate Week Zurich is not just a conference.

It’s a decentralised platform enabling measurable action across the public and private sectors.

We are planning over 100 events, workshops, excursions, panels and performances, tailored to specific target audiences – with more than 8,000 participants expected from Switzerland and abroad over the course of six days.

For whom

From boardrooms to classrooms, we enable stakeholders to contribute to – and benefit from – Zurich’s leadership in sustainable transformation.

In close collaboration with our partners, we design formats for businesses, policymakers, cultural institutions and civil society alike.

Whether you are a professional aiming to future-proof your organisation, a policymaker seeking to understand the needs of business and society, a citizen eager to take meaningful action, or a student exploring future career paths – Climate Week Zurich provides inspiration, practical knowledge and valuable connections.

Participants will gain:

Deep insights into sustainability, climate innovation and nature-based solutions
Access to cross-sectoral experts and thought leaders
Networking opportunities across industries and regions
First-hand exposure to pioneering projects and technologies
A chance to shape the transition by contributing their voice and ideas
Climate Week Zurich is for everyone who wants to better understand the challenges and opportunities of our time – and take part in building a resilient, future-fit society.

Content streams

Climate Week Zurich is curated around different content streams. These will be included, but more will follow:
  • Transition & Resilience (Risk, Adaptation, Supply Chains, Energy, Nature, Biodiversity)
  • Finance & Innovation (Green Finance, Nature Tech, Data, Circular Economy)
  • Policy & Governance (Just Transition, Social Responsibility, Climate Diplomacy)
  • Business & Industry Transformation
  • Culture, Education & Civil Society (Offering of an educational and arts program - from Pub Quiz to comedy evening; from Gemeinschaftszentrum programm offering to drama & concert performance)

Impact measurement

Climate Week Zurich’s Impact Framework tracks the real outcomes from the week:
  • Climate commitments and collaborations
  • Investments in innovation
  • Policy momentum and civic engagement
  • Behavioral shifts in target groups
We are working with partners (e.g., myclimate) to build a transparent impact dashboard.

Communication strategy

Our strategy combines digital media, earned press, community ambassadors and high-impact storytelling to drive engagement - within and beyond Zurich. Targeted content will be distributed via:
  • LinkedIn, Instagram
  • Partner newsletters and media
  • TV, radio and editorial collaborations
  • Podcasts, video recaps and press coverage
Beyond that, we are working on a specific strategy to reach new recipients both nationally and internationally. If you want to learn more about it and get involved with, please get in touch.
